Navigating multiple-course meals can be stressful for even the most experienced cooks. And for those of us who weren’t blessed with kitchen skills – it can be nearly impossible. Steaming this, and broiling that – it’s enough to put your hands up and call out for pizza.

But there is an easier way. We’ve rounded up 10, 1-bowl meals that are healthy, delicious, and simple enough for even the laziest of chefs to master!

Creamy Garlic Herb Mushroom Spaghetti

lazy chef easy mushroom cream pasta

You may have thought a cream sauce was reserved for pros only. Well, put the RAGU away, because we’ve gone and elevated your pasta game.  Combine mushrooms and fresh herbs in an elegantly simple cream sauce, and you’ll be wondering why you don’t cook every night. [RECIPE]

Chickpea and Chicken Coconut Curry

So- not only is this curry dish a one-plate meal, but it’s also a one pot meal. That means less dishes. Less mess. Hooray. Serve this delicious dish with warmed Naan bread or pita crisps and your guests will second-guess everything they know about you. [RECIPE]

Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpea Soup

easy Cauliflower-Chickpea-Soup-1

This soup is rich and hearty, perfectly served as an entree. If you aren’t a soup guy, you probably don’t have an immersion blender on hand – it’s a little tricky to process soups in a blender, so word to the wise – be careful blending hot liquids. Once you’ve served up this fine, blended soup du jour – the leftovers will make easily packable lunches. (Because I know your lunch game is weak) [RECIPE]

Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo

Not only do we have another creamy-style pasta entrée for you, this one is quite different; it’s entirely vegan-friendly! The sauce is made via blended cashews, so it’s a great option to serve up when you have vegan or lactose intolerant guests. Who knew how easy it was to create a rich, dairy-free alternative!  [RECIPE]

In my experience a ‘Buddha Bowl’ is a term for multiple delicious ingredients thrown together in a bowl. For us lazy chefs, we could buddha bowl every day of the week! This one featured here is packed with nutrients and fibre which is perfect if you’ve already had Taco Bell twice this week. [RECIPE]

Vegetable Lo Mein

Mean Green Detox Salad

The-Mean-Green-Detox-Salad-9

I think it’s safe to call this another Buddha bowl. This salad is a melting pot for all those delicious fresh ingredients everyone always tells you to eat more, but you have no idea how to cook with them. For instance, kale, broccoli florets, hemp seeds, chia seeds… yep! The’re all in this salad. So basically, serve this and you can tell everyone you’ve gone on a cleanse. [RECIPE]

Homemade Ramen With Mushrooms

Chipotle Black Bean and Rice Skillet
